Advanced Appellate Practice Seminar

The Appellate Lawyers Association is presenting an Advanced Appellate Practice Seminar in the Seminars Room at the Chicago Bar Association. Topics include Discretionary Appeals, Appeal Bonds, Motion Practice in the Appellate Courts, Post-Judgment Practice in Anticipation of Appeal, Petitions for Leave to Appeal, and Mock Oral Argument.

Presenters include Hugh C. Griffin, Leah M. Bendik, Michael W. Rathsack, Don R. Sampen, Michael A. Scodro, Gretchen Harris Sperry, Joshua G. Vincent, and Daniel Huckabay, President, Commercial Surety Bond Agency.

Time: 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

MCLE: Participants will earn 3.75 hours of MCLE credit. The ALA is an approved MCLE provider.

Location: Seminars Room, Chicago Bar Association, 321 S. Plymouth Ct., Chicago, IL

Cost: $35 for public sector ALA members, $50 for public sector non-members, $75 for private sector ALA members, and $125 for private sector non-members. PLEASE NOTE: Registrations processed on-site will be charged an additional $5.00 administrative fee.
